Fine wood tools for fiber artists.

All Fiber Art tools are made by Ed's hands in his home shop without the use of computerized machine or sophisticated tools.

Before May of 2008 there were ordinary Turkish Spindles
                         then Ed created Delights:

Ed dreamed of a pocket sized spindle and so in the summer of 2009 he designed Kuchulus:

His creative juices a-whirling, Ed designed a lightweight, mid-whorl:

Meadowlark, introduced April 19, 2010

Unstoppable, Ed is introducing his newest spindle, the JAY, a hybrid with the long slender arms of the Lark but a shorter shaft and the arms sitting closer to the bottom producing a fast, portable spindle. The best thing about a Jay is you can buy just a Jay shaft to fit your Lark for $6 or add a different type of spindle to your collection!

But wait! Yet another spindle is in the works!!! A spindle based on one bought 15 years ago in a marketplace in Greece by a woman who so graciously showed it to Ed at Black Sheep Gathering. Ed's still working out the details so it may be awhile before they're ready to debut but we wanted to let you know there's another one in the works!
Here's a preview of the first prototype Ed made:
