                   Turkish Delights

*********************************************************************************
Delights are the perfect sturdy traveling companion!

Compare the six spindles Ed makes to help determine which is best for you.

Oct 3: We took off a few days to visit our grandchildren in Idaho! It was wonderful to finally get a small vacation! A malfunctioning router greeted our return. After calls to our internet service provider, a trip to Salem, much head scratching and cable switching, it seems to be finally working consistently. There are a number of orders to process and mail tomorrow but I'm very hopeful that I'll be able to add some Delights to the website within the next day or two!
Thank you for your patience during this transitional time!

Send us an email of the type you'd like and it will be put on Ed's to-make list.

Below are pictures of Sold Delights made from woods that Ed tries to keep in stock, all shafts are maple.
Weights noted are average; odds are that your spindle will not look or weigh the same as the one pictured.
For a list of woods which Ed uses also for Delights please see the Lark page.

Jenkins Delight Bolivian Rosewood 1.1oz $44
Jenkins Delight Canary $44
Jenkins Delight Desert Ironwood 1.5oz $50
Jenkins Delight Granadillo 1.1oz/31g $44
Jenkins Delight Hormiga Negro 21g / 0.74oz  $44

Jenkins Delight Peroba Rosa 21g $44
Jenkins Delight Pink Ivory 1.2oz  $50

 Jenkins Delight Purpleheart 1oz $44

Ed uses maple for all Standard, Delight, Lark and Aegean spindles. Thank you for understanding our need to keep things simple.

This handy 20 page monograph has step by step instructions with full color pictures to guide you.
The DVD takes a new beginner through the very basics of spinning.

Cotton Muslin bag for your Jenkins Spindles! 5 1/2" x 10 1/2"

Shaft Replacements:
If your shaft breaks please email the type and weight of your spindle (Kuchulu, Delight or Standard).  Ed will make a new shaft for your spindle.
$10 will include replacement plus Postage.

Ed makes each shaft specifically for the individual spindle. One shaft does not fit all! When making a replacement shaft he uses a spindle of the same weight to test spinning balance.
